That's right, I said 23" display. It's almost as big as my TV.
I finally caved and bought the legit version of Creative Suite CS2 because no one got me a cracked copy. Thanks for NOTHIN, jerks.
I have another company to add to my shit English customer service list. Apple UK! After buying the computer online, I checked to see where the computer was located and it said "Under review". I called Apple to see what was up, they said they would look into it and get back to me in 24 hours. 2 days later, no change so I called again and again they said they would look into it and get back to me in 24 hours. Two MORE days later I call a THIRD time and was told he would look into it and get back to me in 24 hours. I told him FUCK THAT, figure it out now, this is my third call, assmunch. Ok, I didn't call him an assmunch, but I must've scared him because after about 2 minutes he comes back and says, "Oops, we didn't update our database", we'll ship it out tomorrow. DIE ASSHOLE! Don't you know I am jonesin for that SWEET SWEET apple-y goodness??
It arrived a week later and I went to UPS to pick up the computer. I have no car, so I asked them to call me a cab, which they did. Cab company said they wouldn't be able to pick me for an HOUR -- Fiddle dee dee, what a fucking surprise. So now I'm stranded in buttfuck nowhere with two MASSIVE boxes. Great.
And then, the UPS lady does something so extraordinary I almost forgot I was in the UK. She said, "hang on, I'll see if any of the couriers are heading back to the city and can give you a lift." Wow. I am blown away by her effort, but I don't really expect anything.
A couple minutes later she comes back and says, "Yup, there is a guy going back, he'll give you a lift. You'll probably have better luck getting a taxi from there." I could've kissed her! (if her teeth didn't look like baked beans, that is).
The driver pulls around and takes me back, not just to town, but to MY DOOR. I try to tip him £20 and he wouldn't take it until I told him that I would've spent it on the cab anyway. I had to beg him to take it. UPS RULES.
So yeah, now I can finally upload and edit my italy photos. Watch this space.
